Janitor

Supervision:

• The Janitor works under the general supervision of the Facilities Superintendent.
• Work is reviewed through periodic meetings, and for compliance with policies and procedures

Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to take and follow directions
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours
• Must be able to work in and communicate to a crowd of people
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions for an extended amount of time
• Must be aware of all trash and restrooms on the CSP Grounds
• Must be able to lift or pull 40 pounds or more
• Must be able to unclog and fix toilets
• Must have a working knowledge of how to safely clean restroom facilities
• Must have a working knowledge of the Emergency Action Plan

 Salary Range:

Hourly Rate: $13-15 p/h

Duties and Responsibilities

• Empty and change trash can liners
• Clean all areas inside the building, including but not limited to bleachers, closets, bathrooms, concessions, offices, doors., and floors
• Pick up loose trash
• Unclog toilets
• Sanitize and deep clean restrooms
• Sweep or dust mop floor/ courts
• Be aware of all trash and restrooms on the CSP grounds
• Open or Lock Up when duties are complete
• Any other job duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
