Weekend Laborer

‍Salary Range:

$8.50 to $15 hourly pay

Supervision:

• The weekend laborer works under the general supervision of the Deputy Director.
• Work is reviewed through periodic meetings, review of reports, and for compliance with policies and procedures.

‍Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to take and follow directions
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours
• Must be able to work in and communicate to a crowd of people
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions for an extended amount of time
• Must be able to lift or pull 40 pounds or more

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Empty and change trash can liners
• Pick up loose trash
• Chalk fields
• Rake baseball fields
• Unclog toilets
• Clean Restrooms
• Pump water off any saturated field
• Set bases and pitching mounds
• Set up and take down volleyball nets
• Set up and break down tables and chairs
• Sweep or dust mop floor
• Zip tie soccer or lacrosse nets
• Any other job duties as deemed necessary by direct supervisor (deputy director)

• Ability to deal with patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to maintain effective relationships with staff and the public to promote and maintain high moral and enthusiasm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Versatility and flexibility
• Currently certified in First Aid and CPR or able to receive certification within 45 days of accepting position.
