
Supervision:
Reports to the Director and Marketing Director. Performance is evaluated through periodic meetings, report reviews, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Salary Range:
$45,000–$55,000 annually.
Essential Job Functions
- Identify new markets and competitive opportunities to increase participation, memberships, sponsorships, and program awareness.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, ensuring content remains accurate, current, and engaging.
- Assist with the creation, editing, photography, and distribution of program guides and promotional publications.
- Manage social media content and community engagement across all platforms.
- Capture and organize photography for programs, events, and marketing initiatives.
- Plan, develop, and execute print, digital, and multimedia marketing campaigns.
- Maintain website content and updates, including seasonal program and event information.
- Write and distribute press releases, coordinate media relations, and participate in interviews as needed.
- Design, coordinate, and manage advertising placements with local media outlets.
- Ensure all marketing collateral remains current while developing fresh creative materials for seasonal programs and events.
- Support sponsorship and fundraising efforts through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited college in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Special Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of marketing, advertising, branding, and public relations principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital marketing tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, community members, participants, sponsors, and media representatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate office equipment and technology systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
