The Trailhead Playground at the front of the complex is designed for the younger age group of 0-6 years of age. This playground has 4 private restrooms with water fountains very close by. This playground is broken up into two age groups. The smaller playground for the younger children is designed as a wagon with a rubberized surface area, known as a "No Fault Safety Surface". The other playground is called the "S.S. Fun Ship" and has wood chip surfacing.
