It takes more than just the H.A.R.D. #1 team to bring sports and recreation programs and facilities for families in Tangipahoa Parish to enjoy—it takes the whole community! Through #SHARETHEGAME, you can volunteer your time as a coach or mentor, donate equipment in good condition to teams, or pay the registration fee for an in-need athlete to participate in a youth program.

Hammond Area Recreation District #1 was created by the Tangipahoa Parish Council in the mid-1990s and is funded by H.A.R.D. #1 taxpayers. We’re on a mission to create family-friendly environments with the finest recreational facilities to encourage healthy lifestyles and cultivate a sense of community through our programs.
